A wish


I spent four years of my B.A Honors watching through this window of girls’ common room.

My 2 or three free hours got consumed sitting there and watching how the light comes through and illuminates the whole darkness of old room.

I used to think how light finds its way inside. I always got hopeful and energetic whenever I observed the play of sunrays with the navy-blue curtains, brown furniture and dusty carpet. In no time the whole room embraced the light .I liked it the moment most when darkness surrender itself in front of light.

I want the same play in my other areas of life.

Lovely photo and great thoughts. Yes,darkness always represents evil,fear,despair,gloom,troubles.We always look for light at the end of the tunnel.We always look for light to dispel darkness in our life.

Our college motto was, LUCEAT LUX VESTRA, which means let your light shine.

And I like it when the light surrenders to night. The edges of daylight are my favorite...sunset, sunrise. The shadows are pleasing and no light seems as beautiful as that about to be born, or die.

Time has changed!

My often depressed looking cousin was looking more depressed last week. He was wondering around without any purpose. Then open his cupboard, and started searching for something. After a while he was sitting in front of me looking inside in his wallet and counting money inside. I asked why he is so depressed and looking at his wallet in this way. He said that few weeks back his girl friend’s friend got a latest mobile. I asked that what it has to do with him. He said that after having a look of that mobile, his girl friend is demanding for the same model as a gift on her upcoming birthday. The cell did cost pocket money of my cousin of five months (as he is a mere student so far).      I just come back from my father's home.Yes;my FATHER'S HOME. Sounds weird ,a home that has been mine from the last 26 years now it is related to me just because it is owned by my father. It happens all the time,with every girl /woman.(technically a married girl is a woman yet not ready to leave the title of girl) ).
