Sorry!

ooopppsss!!!! I am sorry

This is one of the most widely and frequently uttered sentences:''I am sorry''.One utters this sentence without having been really sorry and we receive this word without even getting conformed that the person just said this word is really feeling sorry or not.

Neither the person saying sorry really feel sorry nor the person listening this sorry take it seriously.

So the Sorry is the word taking for granted .Then why we use this word at all?

Wait a minute!!!!!Do not you feel that this small word carrying five alphabet:S.O.R.RY. shows our concern for each other.though we are not really feeling sorry, though we are not begging forgiveness, though we are not really excusing .Still we spend a fraction of second of our precious time to say this word....so my dear fellows keep on saying SOrry and keep realizing the people around that u still consider their existence.

True! Without meaning it, just uttering does not help:)

You are right.. we say and do so many things mechanically! Why say sorry if we do not mean it ?

Well said. It's so true we often say words but they are empty of meaning.

Arooj,

We should not desist from saying sorry but make sincere efforts to feel so also.

Take care

everybody says i am sorry , but does it matters actually ? i had seen " zindagi na milegi dobara" where farhan akhtar once said to his father jab dil se nikle tab bolna sorry..

Yes, saying sorry is very important because sometimes, sorry becomes so heavy and saying it is very easy but it does not show the size of the heart's repentance. yet, it suffices.

There's an old saying in English: ‘Manners maketh man'. It means that having good manners, or being polite to other people, will make you a successful and admirable person.
Saying sorry doesn’t mean there isn’t guilt and forgiving doesn’t mean the pain is gone.
Doomed are the hotheads! Unhappy are they who lose their cool and are too proud to say, ”I’m sorry.”
Never ruin an apology with an excuse.
